U16/U18 registration information

U16 (2008 born players) players will have 3 registration options with OMHA. Players can register for the option U16 travel or U18 travel or U18 RHL non- contact.

U18 players will have the option for registering for U18 travel or U18 RHL (non-contact). Below is a breakdown of the leagues being offered to U18 players

U18 RHL- The Rocky Hockey League is a non contact league.  RHL teams will receive one practice a week and will play their games on the weekends against teams from Canmore, Cochrane, Chestermere and Airdrie. As the league grows more teams will be added. The more teams that Okotoks is able to enter the more games will be played here resulting in less travel.

U16/U18 Travel- The OMHA travel teams play in the Central Alberta Hockey League. If your player is not selected for one of the travel teams they will be placed on a U18 RHL team and you will be refunded the registration fee difference.

U16 AA- All Okotoks players must register and pay for U16 travel with OMHA prior to registering for the U16AA tryouts with OOAA. To register for AA/AAA tryouts please visit the OOAA website: www.ooaaoilerhockey.ca

U17 AAA- All Okotoks players must register and pay for U18 travel with OMHA prior to registering for the U17AAA tryouts with OOAA. To register for AA/AAA tryouts please visit the OOAA website: www.ooaaoilerhockey.ca

U18 AA/AAA- All Okotoks players must register and pay for U18 travel with OMHA prior to registering for the AA/AAA U18 tryouts with OOAA. To register for AA/AAA tryouts please visit the OOAA website: www.ooaaoilerhockey.ca
