OMHA Announces Jersey Sponsorship Partnership with Classic Source for Sports Okotoks

Okotoks, AB - September 30, 2026 - The Okotoks Minor Hockey Association (“OMHA”) is proud to announce a new jersey sponsorship agreement with Classic Source for Sports Okotoks, strengthening a longstanding relationship between two organizations deeply connected to hockey, youth sport, and the Okotoks community.

Through the partnership, Classic Source for Sports will become the major jersey sponsor of OMHA, further expanding its already significant involvement with the Association and its players. The agreement represents more than a traditional sponsorship, it reflects a shared commitment to supporting local families, creating opportunities for young athletes, and investing directly back into the community.

A family-owned and operated business, Classic Source for Sports has been serving Okotoks and the surrounding area for more than three decades. Under the leadership of owner Marty Madsen, Classic has grown alongside the community while maintaining its roots as a locally owned sporting goods business.

For generations of Okotoks families, Classic has been more than a place to purchase hockey equipment. The store has become a familiar part of the local sports community, supporting athletes, teams, coaches and families across a wide range of sports.

Classic has also been a longtime supporter of OMHA and currently serves as the Association’s primary apparel providers, supplying players, coaches and families with OMHA-branded team apparel and equipment. Its involvement, however, extends well beyond its business relationship with the Association.

Over the years, Classic Source for Sports has provided countless sponsorships and contributions throughout Okotoks, supporting not only minor hockey but teams, athletes, events and organizations across the local sporting community. That commitment to giving back has made Classic an important partner in helping keep youth sport accessible, vibrant and successful in Okotoks.

“Classic Source for Sports has been supporting kids and sports in this community for a very long time, and we are extremely proud to expand our partnership with them,” said OMHA President Geoff Rollins. “Marty and his team understand what minor sports mean to Okotoks because they are part of this community themselves. The partnership builds on an already strong relationship between Classic Source for Sports and OMHA. Classic has been closely involved with OMHA apparel and equipment while also supporting initiatives that create additional opportunities for young hockey players and families throughout the community.

For Classic Source for Sports, the agreement represents a continuation of the philosophy that has guided the locally owned business for decades: supporting the community that supports them.

OMHA currently provides hockey programming for players from ages five through 18 and remains committed to creating a positive environment built around development, sportsmanship, respect and a lifelong enjoyment of the game.
